GWQ – Great West Quater

Urban Regeneration Project combines Residential & Retail for Barratt Homes. GWQ's first element is Wallis House – a listed building of architectural significance, carefully restored and now this is art deco of 140 luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and Penthouses.

Wallis House is fully designed for modern house with contemporary urban living spaces include contemporary styled kitchen units with appliances, vanity units in bathrooms & ensuites, gas fired under floor heating, ash veneer internal doors with polished chrome finished handles.

Addiscombe Road Project

Design and Build of 63 no apartments in 2 no 4 storey blocks. The front bock provides 29 two and three bedroom apartments for open market sale and the rear block 34 no affordable houses built to meet Scheme Development and ECO Homes "Good" rating.

On Carpentry & Joinery Contract our Company has competed externally:- joist roof construction built into metal frame, include external sloping walls to the roof, plywood decking, dormer roof construction, valley boards and gutters include soffits to under croft & entrance porch canopies.

Internally we have carried out all carpentry and joinery items, comprising internal & external doors and frames installations with all ironmongery, solid wood flooring installation, bathroom panels, ensuite & shower doors.

All works was completed at the highest standard and on target programme.

Hatchford - Mansion House

For this project we were instructed to fit furniture in bedrooms (e.g. fitted wardrobes), as well as undertake stairwork and fit hardwood doors.

Hartley Jam Factory

We worked on Block D for the Hartley Jam Factory in Bermondsey, SE1. 24 flats were installed, of which the bathrooms and kitchens for example, consisted of hardwood paneling fitting. Internal floors were finished off with hardwood. External work involved hardwood cladding, the external walkway was made of hardwood decking.

Grange Road – Residential Contract for HG Construction Ltd in Bermondsey, London SE1

This development comprised of 58 apartments, 3 town houses and 1 A3 unit with above ground drainage and car parking. As a Carpentry & Joinery Sub-Contractor we have completed Roof works to Penthouses and Town Houses, External Decking to balconies and courtyard, Plywood substrate for metal cladding on the curved balconies.

Internally: Danskin floated floors system installation, Internal & External Doors installation, Timber Stairs Installations in Town Houses; Hardwood handrails to staircases include all other joinery and final works. This contract was for duration of 63 weeks and was completed in March 2008.

University of North London, Huddleston Road, Tufnell Park London N7

The largest project to date for HG Construction Ltd, constructing 750 rooms of student accomodation, 150 rooms are being refurbished in the existing 6 storey block with extensive modernisation and alteration to include en-suite and kitchen facilities and improved services and ventilation.

The remainder of the project is the new build of 600 rooms in both cluster and studio format up to 9 storeys high. This building is constructed with a precast concrete frame with the instalation of pod en-suite facilities to ensure a high quality of finish and speed of consruction on this confined site.

As Carpentry and Joinery subcontractor our company completed on target the above scheme program and being involved in the folowing works description: Internal works: Completion of Carpentry & Joinery elements, sach as internal doors & frames instalation, architraves & skirting bords instalation, softwood window borads instalation, internal window linigs instalation, kitchens instalation, sliding beds instalation.

This will provide students with modern facilities in a homley enviroment with views across the adjusent park. Up to date the refurbishment block are completed and ocupation throughout the site in September 2009

Britannia Street

Project comprise: Conversion from office block of a new 9 apartments on 2 levels include extending the building at second floor level to form new roof structure and Penthouse apartments.

Didcot, Oxfordshire

Bellingham Gateway Building

This Sports Centre project required us to build the main carpentry infrastructure. It involved the construction and fitting of window frames, roof carcassing and external cladding. Additional internal work consisted of the fitting of underlying flooring platforms. The finished floor surfacing was also a key part of this project with fitted wardrobes, cabinets, desks, as well as doors.

Burgess Park

The nursery, First Place, is situated in Burgess Park, SE5. Work involved fitting window frames, roof carcassing, external cladding and the setting up of a fence made of ethernit. Additional internal work consisted of the fitting of a bridge plywood activity counter, fitted wardrobes, cabinets, desks, timber beams as well as sliding doors. Toilet cubicles for children were installed.

St James Groove

This work was undertaken on 120 flats on the St James Groove Estate in Battersea, Wandsworth. The project required hardwood decking and external cladding. The development extended to the changing of floors and kitchen windows. For this project we were also involved in the construction of 6 new flats at a podium level in Block A, B, C and 9 other blocks.

St Bedes School

The work we did for this client included the fitting of internal doors, screen hardwood and hardwood stairs. External work comprised roof work, including timber frame.

Normand Croft school

This development was undertaken on a community school and included key structural work. It involved timber roofing with glulam beams and ply decking. The internal work included studwork with chipboard flooring and kitchen areas with hard furnishings. The changing rooms also required new fitted wardrobe areas and benching. Other features included external weatherboards, skylights and a waiting room reception desk.

Bligh's Meadow, Sevenoaks

The phased Design and Build Development of commercial and retail units within a busy pedestrianised retail complex. The initial phase comprised the construction of two and three storey linked structure with contiguous piled basement to provide two retail units, café and offices with external paving works.

For this project we were instructed to fit furniture in bedrooms (e.g. fitted wardrobes), as well as undertake stairwork and fit hardwood doors.
